CRASH RATED BI FOLDING GATE

B&K security is designer and manufacturer of Trackless Bi folding Crash Rated gates with a speed operations. These gates are engineered to protect against vehicle-borne terrorist attacks on buildings and perimeter entrances.

Backed by a team of experienced installation, commissioning, and maintenance engineers, our crash-tested bi-folding speed gates is dedicated for high demanding sites  (government, petrochemical, banking, finance, transportation, and public utility sectors).

Dimensions:

• Clear opening width: up to 4000 in single gate and 8000 as double gate

Crash rating Impact Resistance:
Designed to withstand impact of 2500 kg vehicle travelling at 48 km/h, rated by design to PAS 68:2013 and IWA 14-1:2013 standards.

Gate Construction:
Leaf made of rectangular hollow sections (RHS) and heavy duty posts made of square hollow sections (SHS) with metal plate for anchoring on finished floor level.

Gate Infill:
Gate can be filled with various materials:

1. Square profile 25×25
2. Mesh infill
3. Custom infill on demand

Locking Mechanism and arrestor System::
Gate is equipped with a solid locking connected with arrestor system.

Drive Unit:
Premium 3-phase electric drive unit with integrated gearbox and PLC controller, equipped with manual override, adjustable cam-operated limit switches, and a dedicated protective housing. The dual worm-gear transmission is specifically engineered for reliable operation in high-wind environments, providing inherent self-locking functionality that holds the gate securely in place during power outages.

The drive delivers controlled, smooth motion during both opening and closing cycles and is engineered for demanding, heavy-duty applications. Reliable performance is maintained even in extreme conditions, with operational capability down to –45 °C.
